Hon Tam Resort, a green island

Hon Tam Resort - Eco Green Island, located in south of Nha Trang Bay, 5km from the shore, now is a luxurious resort with modern conveniences but retains natural deserted beauty with tropical evergreen forest, and the endless winding gold-sand beach.

 

Aiming to satisfy different demands of tourists, the resort, covering an area of 110 hectares, comprises three parts including Eco Green Resort, Life Paradise and Royal Sport.

Eco Green Resort, covering 5.4 hectares, features the island with 49 bungalows nestled amid lush rain forest. The bungalows are designed to look like rustic cottages of Vietnamese tradition which are made from bamboo, wood, thatch and clay but they have extremely luxurious and convenient inferior. Especially, all of them have private balconies with a spectacular ocean view and  their televisions provide 150 channels. The stylish bungalows are spacious, romantic and perfect for couples, families and anyone who love nature and tranquility. Eco Green Resort has put into service since February, 2009.

Life Paradise, 4.7 ha in area, is a four-star hotel with 220 modern rooms. It also has Ocean View Restaurant with 600 seats, Life Paradise Restaurant and Flamingo Bar with interesting folk music shows. This section’s specially suitable for relaxation or conferences.

Royal Sport is a recreation and water sport center with a wide range of activities such as mountain climbing, forest discovery, boat rowing, fishing, water skiing, jet skies, para-sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving and particularly airship.

 

Two parts Life Paradise and Royal Sport now are under construction and scheduled to start operation in 2010.

Additionally, other services including swimming pool, golf course,  amusement park for children, spa will be available on the island then.

Moreover, Hoang Hoa Thon ancient housing estate, which is famous for five over-100-year-old houses with antique objects such as rice-hulling mill, mantle, table, pot and casket, wooden gate and calligraphy depicted on rocks, will be moved completely to Hon Tam island. And, the resort will have a site representing life of Vietnamese Highlands people with communal house, chain bridge, lithophone, T’rung and other things. Two above sites aim to honour the national character and will become places for cultural festivals.

Reliant upon solar power, wind power, natural gas and collected rainwater, Hon Tam Eco Green Island prides itself in being boldly green, whilst maintaining absolute luxurious comfort for even the most discerning travelers.
