Over 1,000 people join in environmental protection meeting

On September 23, 2008 Dong Nai provincial Farmers’ Association in cooperation with Vinh Cuu district held a meeting to respond to the Clean up the World Campaign. The meeting was attended by central, provincial and Vinh Cuu District Farmers Associations’ leaders, 600 students and 700 local people.
The meeting is held to appeal to all people to actively participate in activities to clean up and protect the environment such as forest protection, green plant growing, prevention of water resource pollution, etc.
Dong Nai is one of eight provinces across the country selected to organize the meeting by Vietnam Farmers’ Association.
The Clean up the World Campaign with the theme of “Start Today - Save Tomorrow - Clean Up our Climate” takes place during September.
