(TITC) - Travel+Leisure released the 55 Most Beautiful Places in the World, including Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.
Ha Long Bay, located in northeast Vietnam, about 165 km from Ha Noi. Ha Long Bay is especially loved by domestic tourists and international friends because of the harmonious beauty of the majestic mountains, the clear emerald water and the limestone islands covered in the lush green of tropical forests.

Ha Long Bay has been registered by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage 3 times. After being recognized for the first time in 1994 as having outstanding global value in aesthetic landscape, in 2000, UNESCO continued to register Ha Long Bay as having outstanding global values in geology and geomorphology.
Not only does it possess emerald water and nearly 2,000 limestone islands of various shapes, with many interesting caves creating a world that is both lively and mysterious. Hundreds of rocky islands, each with a very vividly different shape. Hidden within those rocky islands are beautiful caves such as Thien Cung Cave, Dau Go Cave, Sung Sot Cave, Trinh Nu Cave, Tam Cung Cave...
On 16th September, at the 45th session of the World Heritage Committee in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) announced the new inscription of Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago to the list of World Natural Heritage.
This UNESCO World Natural Heritage of Vietnam also has a special appeal for those who love sports such as hiking, swimming, diving, boating and climbing.
