“A trip that I will probably never forget and if I have the opportunity I will definitely return to this beautiful city again. First of all, I would like to thank the members of the Da Nang Beach Tourism Order Management Team and especially Mr. Phan Thanh Trinh, Head of Working Group No. 2. Even though it was late at night and his house was far away the scene, he did not hesitate to help me. Da Nang people are gentle, affectionate and enthusiastic. Even though it was a holiday, there were many tourists but the price was reasonable. Those who have not been to Da Nang should come once, it is worth visiting and the experience is extremely great, very clean and friendly”.

The cited statement was made by female tourist Tran Hoai Linh from the north-central province of Thanh Hoa, who recently took a trip to Da Nang. During this trip, she accidentally dropped her mobile phone and was assisted in finding it by the Marine Tourism Order Management Team. Ms. Linh was just one of many tourists who lost their phones, money and all of them got back their missing assets through the great support made by the marine tourism order force.

Mr. Phan Thanh Trinh, the Head of Working Group No. 2, said that even though his work shift was over, he received a request from the leader that he returned to the scene with his brothers to try to find Ms. Linh's phone. After searching for about an hour on the sandy beach, at 10:00 p.m. on May 1, the members found the phone on the sand.

According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Van, the  of the Marine Tourism Order Management Team, when requested, the members of the Tourism Order Management Team are not afraid of dark nights, long distances, putting aside housework to assist in the search, regardless of hardship.

The team currently has 50 people, divided into 5 working groups to carry out the task of coordinating with relevant localities and units to ensure security and order at Da Nang tourist beaches.

At the same time, they strived to ensure security and order, monitor environmental hygiene, handle violations of organisations and individuals providing tourism services at beaches as well as coordinate with authorities to handle violations in the fields of security, order and environmental sanitation.

In case of emergency, team members are present immediately to promptly help visitors at any time. In 2023, the team tracked, found and returned 29 assets, including phones and wallets, to tourists. In the first four months of 2024 alone, there were 8 cases.

Specifically, on February 4, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tri, an employee of working group No. 3, picked up a phone dropped by a foreign tourist at a local beach and returned it to its owner. On March 20, at the My Khe Beach, Mr. Tran Thanh Duc, an employee of working group No. 2, picked up a phone, and inside the phone wallet case was 15 USD and 10,000 Won in cash from a tourist. These assets had been unintentionally dropped by a South Korean named Park Chan Kap on the beach.

Recently, on April 11, at the beach in the northern part of the East Sea Park, Mr. Ho Minh Hai, an employee of working group No. 4, picked up a bag containing a phone that had been carelessly left by a Chinese tourist. On May 1, at the beach in Lang Ong park area, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, an employee of working group No. 3, picked up a phone that a Vietnamese tourist dropped at the beach and then handed it back to her.

With the desire to build the image of Da Nang as a friendly and attractive city for tourists, the marine tourism order management team always strives to perform the assigned work well, not only persuading everyone to understand and comply properly with regulations but also preventing thievery at beaches.
