Quang Binh calls investment in 20 new destinations in Phong Nha - Ke Bang

The Quang Binh People’s Committee has announced the ecotourism, resort and entertainment project for the 2021-2030 period to improve the quality of tourism products and call for investment and develop tourism products in 20 potential areas.

Caves in Quang Binh create global attraction

Of these, nine tourist attractions include the Tourism Management and Operations Centre; an eco-tourism spot in the zoo along with a visit to a wildlife rescue area; a high-quality resort at 20 Quyet Thang street; the Nui Doi wildlife breeding and rescue area; a high-class resort in the U Bo mountain area; eco-tourism sites at Chay Waterfall and Stream 40; and the Ba Tay Hill and Tram Na resort areas.

Eleven areas with unique potential to develop tourist routes include natural exploration of Re Forest to the May Bay ravine; the Ca Roong and Kling Acuc caves; Vom Cave to Vooc Well; the caves of Chi Huy, Cay Sanh and Bai; the U Bo Peak; a spruce forest; Hoa Huong Cave; Khe Ry Cave; the culture and history of Cong-Nong-Binh Cave; the western part along the Ho Chi Minh Highway, inter-province road 562; and the Hung Lau area.

Currently, the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park organizes 18 tourist routes, destinations, and programs associated with the park’s characteristics. Among them, tourists can visit popular cave tourism attractions, typically Phong Nha Cave and Thien Duong Cave.

The total length of caves in Nha - Ke Bang National Park has been recorded at 234km with more than 447 caves discovered and divided into three systems of Vom Cave, Phong Nha Cave and Ruc Mon Cave./.
