The food safety and hygiene quality and acute diarrhoea prevention were investigated on July 21, 2008 in Quy Nhon City.
The investigation showed that most restaurants and manufacturers follow regulations. Their employees participated in regular health checks.
However, some haven’t improved their equipment and employees haven’t also ensured absolute hygiene standards.
The investigators fined those who violated regulation and warned them about violation to ensure the food safety for the upcoming Tay Son – Binh Dinh Festival.
The food safety and hygiene quality in districts of Tuy Phuoc, An Nhon, and Tay Son will be investigated until July 31, 2008.
