Discovering Pa Khom Bay in Lai Chau

Pa Khom Bay, a natural gem formed by the Ban Chat Hydropower Reservoir, is nestled in Pha Mu Commune, Than Uyen District, Lai Chau Province. Located about 30 kilometers from the center of Than Uyen District, the bay is characterized by its crystal-clear blue water surrounded by lush green forests and towering limestone mountains.

Pa Khom Bay is not only visually stunning but also offers a cool climate and fresh air all year round, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers. Camping by the lake, surrounded by majestic natural beauty, provides a memorable experience for those who visit.

From Pa Khom Bay, travelers can head downstream to see the Ban Chat Hydropower Plant, visit Tham Phe fish village in Muong Kim Commune, or journey to the source of the Nam Mu River to reach Chit and Kha villages in Pha Mu Commune, where they can admire the stunning mountain and forest landscapes.
