The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Bac Giang province has just decided to recognize the Provincial Museum as a tourist destination which preserves and displays a treasure trove of cultural and historical heritage, the land and people of the ancient Bac region and Bac Giang on November 2.
The museum is located at No. 6 Nguyen Van Cu Street, Tran Phu Ward, Bac Giang City, with convenient traffic location, open and beautiful landscape.

The Museum now preserves and displays about 55,000 documents, images and unique artifacts, associated with typical historical events in the process of formation and development of the land and people of Bac Giang, especially the tradition of fighting to build and defend the country of Bac Giang people.
Besides, there is an outdoor exhibition area with statues of sacred animals; archaeological artifacts; models of stilt houses of the Cao Lan people creating a highlight for the unique cultural space of ethnic minorities in the province.
The bicycle-a means of transporting goods during the Dien Bien Phu Campaign is displayed at the Provincial Museum.
The recognition of the Provincial Museum as a tourist destination creates a highlight for tourism activities in Bac Giang City, helping visitors learn about the traditions, historical and cultural values of Bac Giang land in the past and present.
Thus, up to now, Bac Giang province has 19 recognized tourist areas and spots.
