Exploiting eco-tourism potentiality  in Tuyen Quang's hydroelectric lake

Tuyen Quang's hydroelectric lake (Na Hang), a "Ha Long Bay" of high mountains and thick forests is 8,000 ha in area, connecting with beautiful small islands, grottos and waterfalls, historical sites with scared temples sitting on mountainside. It is also connected with Thac Do tourist area, Bac Me district (Ha Giang), Ba Be National Part (Bac Kan)....

Local authorities has been calling for investment in Na Hang's eco-tourist site with 8 funtional areas.

Currently in Na Hang district, there are 8 tourist accommodations inluding 7 guesthouses and 1 hotel with 113 rooms and 213 beds; 25 fully-equipped boats to serve 22,000 - 33,000 arrivals per year (since 2007 up to now).

The district has collaborated with Na Hang Eco-tourist Site Administration to build project items such as reception area, Pac Ban waterfall site, Phieng Bung tourist site as well as to popularize Na Hang's images, landscape, human and natural resources through Trade Fairs.

The district  also co-odinated with The Ha Noi College of Tourism opening a tourism training course for 70 trainees; joined hands with  Museum of the Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups to carry out project of  urgent study on Human, Culture, Heritage and developing community in harmony with human and eco-enviroment of Tuyen Quang's reservoir; 11 cuture and historic sites and attractions have been recognized at national level. The district and relevant authorities have spent significant efforts to promote and preserve the traditional cultural characteristics, cultural and historical relics in association with developing local tourist products.
