Cu Mong lagoon

On the route from North to South, past Cu Mong lagoon, which is at the border between the two provinces of Phu Yen and Binh Dinh, tourists will be astonished at the scenic beauty of Cu Mong lagoon.

Cu Mong lagoon has an area of 2,655 ha, surrounded by 6 communes: Xuan Loc, Xuan Binh, Xuan Hai, Xuan Hoa, Xuan Canh, Xuan Thinh (Song Cau town). Around the lagoon, there are immense green coconut trees and populous, wealthy villages. The National Avenues 1A and 1D (Qui Nhon- Song Cau) wind around the lagoon. Once coming here, tourists get the chance to get to know the archaeological sites, famous sites as Nan island, Cong Than temple, Huong Island, Tram Beach, Ma Chin Tang, which is a historical vestige of Tay Son movement, also, as for cuisine, tourists will have the opportunity to enjoy the outstanding specialties of Cu Mong lagoon.
