Enertec Expo 2012 opens in HCM city

(TITC) - From 15th to 18th, August, 2012, Department of Industry and Trade and Ho Chi Minh City Power Cooperation organized an international exhibition on power saving products and green energies, Enertec Expo 2012, at the Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Centre (TBECC) in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).

The event attracted nearly 100 enterprises with more than 120 stalls displaying energy saving and green energy using products…Furthermore, this is a chance for domestic enterprises to introduce their high-tech products to consumers and expand their markets as well as to help overseas firms looking for partners, distributors and importers.

Deputy Director of HCMC’s Department of Industry and Trade, Mr. Le Van Khoa said the Enertec Expo 2012 is one of activities of the national strategy for efficient energy using.

Aiming to develop new energy programs and renewable energy as well as to diversify energy saving products, the Enertec Expo 2012 also held a seminar on planning for the country’s power strategy for 2011 -2020, mainly focusing on power saving products and ways of saving energy.

In addition, some other activities aiming to enhance the publics awareness of the importance of saving energy were also deployed around the city such as cycling for power saving and green energies,  drawing contest on "Smart city – saving energy for a civilized and modern city"…
