According to the report from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, in response to the World Environment Day and the National Week for Clean Water and Sanitation 2013.
There are more than 100 tourism businesses, the Culture - Information Offices, the Resorts Authority, the Cultural Center of the province performed environmental protection activities such as cleaning up the environment inside and outside places of business, offices, clearing drains and drainage ditches, collecting waste at beaches, checking project quality and water quality control.
The resorts have planted more than 5,000 trees and 2,000m2 of grass cover, taking care of 20,000 trees and 190,000 m2 of grass cover.
In addition, many communication activities to raise awareness and change behavior of using clean water, practise environmental sanitation, improve quality of the surrounding environment for people and visitors are also carried out embracing: hanging banners, posters, visual propaganda, radio, broadcast march .. .
