Cu Lao Cham- a “green pearl” of Quang Nam

(TITC)-Located about 15km from Cua Dai beach (Hoi An- Quang Nam), Cu Lao Cham is endowed with the beauty of primitive and mysterious forest and sea.

Being considered as a “green pearl” of Quang Nam Province, Cu Lao Cham attracted a large number of tourists every year (105,000 arrivals in 2012).

Cu Lao Cham consists 8 islands namely Hon Lao (Pearl), Hon Dai (long), Hon Mo (tomb), Hon Kho mẹ, Hon Kho con (dry), Hon La (leaf), Hon Tai (ear) and Hon Ong (east wind), but only Hon Lao is inhabited by people.

Cu Lao Cham is known as an ideal destination for domestic and int’l tourists with cool climate, beautiful beaches, diversified flora and fauna system, natural seafood and bird nest resources. Coming to Cu Lao Cham, tourists can not miss a diving tour to enjoy fascinating coral reefs.

Cu Lao Cham was recognized as a World Biosphere Reserve in 2009. Since then, it is known not only as an attractive ecotourism destination but also a highlight point in the maritime trade routes.
