Ha Noi observes Earth Hour 2015

The city saved 241,000kWh of electricity, worth about US$19,000, by switching off lights in Ha Noi's offices, buildings, bulletin boards and other non-essential electrical equipment during Earth Hour 2015 from 8.30pm from 9.30pm yesterday.

In Earth Hour 2013, the city saved 219,000kWh and in 2014 the whole country saved 431kWh.

Earth Hour 2015's theme was "Use your power to change climate change." The event was jointly organised by the trade ministry, the embassy of Denmark in Viet Nam and Electricity of Viet Nam.
