Muong Lo Week of Culture, Sports and Tourism will be organized on 45th anniversary of Day for establishment of Nghia Lo Town (on October 08, 1971 – October 08, 2016).
The week is an important activity to attract tourists, investors into tourism business in the western region, Yern Bai Province in general and Nghia Lo Town in particular.
Also, the activity aims to enhance solidarity, cultural exchange, studying, experience among some nations; connect maintenance and development of tourism culture; create more interesting atmosphere among some tourits in Muong Lo region.
The week will take place some cultural activities in large scale on the occasion such as choir festival of folk culture of the Thai ethnics and street festival; the opening ceremony of cultural week and some activities of conference, contest, cuisine, a culinary contest and traditional sports games, together with community-based tourism activities.
The Cultural, Sports and Tourism Week of Muong Lo 2016 is a chance to raise communities’ awareness about the role of local tourism sector, develop tourist products and connect local and regional tours. Furthermore, the event also aims to promote and honor traditional cultural values of ethnic groups in the area.
Located in Nghia Lo Town, Muong Lo is known as one of the four most beautiful valleys in the northwestern region.
