“Viet Nam’s Blue Sea” campaign

(TITC)- In response to World Water Day (March 22) and World Environment Day (June 5), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) will organize the environment protection campaign in tourism activities called “Viet Nam’s Blue Sea” in five coastal provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Quang Trị and Da Nang City, lasting from 18 to 26 May.
At the press conference held on May 15, MOCST informed that the campaign is organized in order to strengthen state management in the tourism environment protection and raise awareness and responsibility of tourist enterprises, local people and tourists on the sea protection.
According to the plan, the launching ceremony will be organized at Binh Minh Square (Cua Lo Town, Nghe An Province) on May 18 with the participation of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nghe An Province, Nghe An Department of Tourism and employees of Ha Noi Beer-Alcohol-Beverage JSC.
Within the framework of the campaign there will be activities such as: handing over five works of the youth to protect blue sea, 10 scholarships for the best pupils, 170 trash bins with the message " More green trash bins. "
