Hanoi to provide free bus service for reporters covering US - N.Korea summit

The city tour double decker buses will adjust its itineraries to make stop at the International Media Center at reporters` service during the summit.

Reporters covering the US – DPRK summit, which is slated for February 27 and 28, will be served free bus service between February 25 and March 2.

Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung requested public transport operators to do their best for domestic and foreign journalists in commuting.

The Hanoi Department of Transportation and the Center for Urban Traffic Management has put into service free buses (including double decker bus for city tour) for domestic and foreign reporters holding US - North Korea summit cards. 

Office Chief of Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco) Doan Anh Ngoc said that the city tour double decker buses will adjust its itineraries to make stop at the International Media Center for reporters' convenience during the summit. Bus itineraries are also adjusted in function of the security plans.

The Hanoi Department of Transportation required public transport operators to behave properly so as to create friendly impression to domestic and international passengers. 

In addition, the department requested them to be helpful in giving information, explanation and road guiding to foreigners.
