(TITC) - In early of 2021, Hue City has been high evaluated by international travel magazines and channels as an attractive destination.
On March 2021, CNBC channel listed the Central Viet Nam as one of 7 lesser-known destinations to consider when it’s safe to travel again. The channel supposes that travelers habits are changing. People are bypassing big cities in favor of smaller destinations. “Many international tourists to Viet Nam head north to Ha Noi and Ha Long Bay or south to Ho Chi Minh City. Those who do venture to the center typically go to the old town of Hoi An, the glitzy hotels outside of Da Nang or to the historic sites of Hue and My Son.”, CNBC suggested.
Beside that, Hue also was chosen by Idealmagazine in the list of 10 ideal foodie destinations in Southeast Asia with “bun bo Hue” (a deep, savoury and spicy broth which all the best cuts of pork, blood and beef have made their home) and “banh xeo” (a type of crispy pancake filled with minced pork and prawns, which you eat wrapped in lettuce and enjoy with the ever present bowl of fresh herbs). The food stalls in Dong Ba Market also received high suggestion.
Recently, The Culture Trip suggested Bach Ma National Park (in Thua Thien Hue Province) as one of the best national parks in Viet Nam. “Bach Ma lies hidden just west of the imperial capital of Hue, near the central coast of Viet Nam. Dilapidated French villas, overrun by pine forests, peer out through the wilderness as mile-high peaks float in the distance. The park is home to some of the most dense and pristine ribbons of jungle in central Viet Nam”.
On April 2021, Travel + Leisure magazine announced the most beautiful drives you can take around the world, according to Instagram Data. In which, Hai Van Pass (connected Thua Thien Hue Province and Da Nang City) was considered as "Ocean Cloud Pass" and "one of the best coast roads in the world" by Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson. With a length of 20km, Hai Van Pass has become one of the most photographed routes by tourists on Instagram with more than 52,000 "check-in" photos.
