(TITC) - Responding to the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 “Binh Thuan - Green tourism comes together”, and also promoting tourism products connecting the two provinces of Binh Thuan (South Central Coast) and Lam Dong (Central Highlands), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan has just implemented a plan to organise a tourism programme with the theme "Journey to the Sea and Flowers" from 29th - 30th September 2023.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition on "Vietnam's sea and island cultural heritages " was officially held on the evening of August 27, 2023, in Phan Thiet City, as a part of activities within the framework of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023.

The main ceremony of the Whale-worshipping (Cau Ngu) festival officially took place on August 6th morning at Van Thuy Tu temple. The event is part of a series of activities included in the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 - Binh Thuan: Green Tourism comes together”.
As many as 4.46 million tourist arrivals visited Binh Thuan in the past first half-year of 2023, 86 percent higher than that of the same period last year.
In a short time, Binh Thuan must focus on promoting the synergy of the whole society to ensure security and safety in tourism activities.
The organizing board of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 - Binh Thuan: Green Tourism Comes Together 2023 has lately issued a plan to organize a Golden Week of Binh Thuan Tourism 2023, which is scheduled to take place in October.
A meeting in response to World Environment Day (June 5), Vietnam Sea and Islands Week, and World Oceans Day 2023, held by the Provincial People's Committee, took place in Phu Quy island district.
The Municipal People’s Committee of Phan Thiet has recently organized Cau Ngu Festival in 2023 at Van Thuy Tu temple (Duc Thang commune, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province). The event is expected to take place from August 6-8th, 2023, with 2 parts of the Ceremony and a festival. The opening ceremony is officially held on August 8th, 2023.
