A major sports event, in the series of events for the 2023 Visit Vietnam Year: “Binh Thuan - Green Tourism comes together,” will take place at Bau Trang Ecotourism Area (Bac Binh district) in early December 2023.
The formation and development process of Binh Thuan tourism is a long journey. It is the relentless effort and striving of all levels, sectors, localities, and people. The support of investors and domestic and foreign tourists has contributed to the development of Binh Thuan tourism. However, above all, it is the attention and correct direction of the Party, specifically Resolution 06 on tourism development until 2025, with a vision towards 2030 issued by the Provincial Party Committee.
A kite festival and a supercar parade kicked off in Hoa Thang Commune, Bac Binh District, Binh Thuan Province, on October 22, as part of activities held in response to the Visit Vietnam Year – Binh Thuan 2023.
On October 22, 2023, localities in Binh Thuan province simultaneously launched many specific tasks to beautify the urban environment in response to the call for the entire people to participate in general environmental cleaning, urban beautification, and deploy regular and continuous activities to preserve and protect the environment at schools, agencies, units, and localities.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong and Binh Thuan Provinces organised a conference on tourism development cooperation, themed "Sea and Flower Journey" in Lam Dong Province, on September 30, with the participation of many tourism units of the two localities.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition on "Vietnam's sea and island cultural heritages " was officially held on the evening of August 27, 2023, in Phan Thiet City, as a part of activities within the framework of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023.

The main ceremony of the Whale-worshipping (Cau Ngu) festival officially took place on August 6th morning at Van Thuy Tu temple. The event is part of a series of activities included in the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 - Binh Thuan: Green Tourism comes together”.
As many as 4.46 million tourist arrivals visited Binh Thuan in the past first half-year of 2023, 86 percent higher than that of the same period last year.
