Son Tra Peninsula with its peak at some 700 meters above sea level is called the “green lung” of the coastal city of Danang. In autumn, this peninsula is even more attractive to travelers who want to indulge themselves in the purity of the peaceful nature, particularly at sunrise. We have recently made such a trip to Son Tra peak.
These days, a corner of Son Tra Peninsula (Da Nang) is dyed yellow by a flamboyant flower - the typical flowers of Son Tra every April. On this occasion, visitors can see the brown-shanked douc langurs on their yellow-flamboyant branches.
Members of the SaSa Marine animal rescue team have been restoring a 1.2sq.km complex of coral reefs on the coastal area of the Son Tra peninsula in the central city, reviving the already damaged coral reefs for prolonged existence of ocean species in the area.
