(TITC) – On December 24, in Nghe An Province, a press meeting was held to announce and inform Tourism Conference 2021 themed "Vietnam tourism - Recovery and Development".

Attending and chairing the meeting were Mr. Ta Van Ha - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Committee for Culture and Education, Head of the Conference Organizing Board; Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh – Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and press agencies.
Accordingly the press information, Tourism Conference 2021 is organized by the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Education in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Nghe An Province.
It takes place on December 25, at Cua Lo Town and will be connected online with key tourism localities namely Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Can Tho, Kien Giang...
About 300 delegates who are National Assembly deputies, managers, scientists, experts, businesses related to tourism have registered to attend the event.
The conference aims to assess the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the tourism industry, opportunities and challenges for Vietnam tourism; discuss orientations and solutions to recover and develop Vietnam tourism; propose the solutions to remove difficulties, supporting tourism businesses and workforce; provide information for National Assembly deputies while deciding breakthrough policies to restore and develop tourism in the "new normal" condition.
The program of conference will be divided into two sections. In the theme section, there are reports from ministries, opinions and discussions of local leaders, experts and businesses on policies, solutions to restore and develop tourism sector, world experiences to overcome the Covid-19 crisis and develop tourism.
In the plenary session, leaders of the National Assembly and Government will inform the impact of Covid-19 pandemic and solutions to recover tourism in 2022, 2023.
At the press meeting, the Organizing Board answered questions from the press agencies related to mechanisms and policies to support tourism businesses, employees in the tourism industry, the plan to welcome tourists in 2022…
