(TITC) - Thua Thien Hue Online on January 12, 2022 reported about the adoptation ceremony for Hue culinary logo (brand identity) for cuisines.

According to Thua Thien Hue Online, the Thua Thien Hue Department of Tourism officially announced the Hue culinary logo, called ‘Hue - Gastronomy Capital’. It is considered as the primary step to achieve its brand identity as well as to affirm its position and role in the food industry.
A design contest was held by the Department of Tourism and received dozens of entries from several regions all over the country in order to choose the logo. The chosen logo conveys the concept of Hue cuisine in graphic language to the public in the most concise way, in the shape of high symbolism and multi-dimensionality in the meaning… the main group of images is creatively combined between images related to food, such as cups, chopsticks, plates and trays…with the stylised image of Hue landscape on the cup intermingled with typical decorative forms and popular motifs in Hue.
The culinary brand identity is in the project ‘Creating, administering and developing the trademark licence ‘Hue - Gastronomy Capital’ for Hue speciality cuisines of Thua Thien Hue Province’; acts as a basis for registration of protection at the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam and develop a document on management and authorising of the trademark licence.
Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Director of Thua Thien Hue Department of Tourism, indicated, by having the brand identity certification, Hue culture in association with tourism can be widely acknowledged.
