(TITC) - The famous American travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller has voted Vietnam as one of the 10 trends defining travel in 2022.
Condé Nast Traveller emphasised that although travelling abroad will continue to be challenging for many countries, and many parts of the world have not completed the fully-jabbed COVID-19 vaccine, some countries will start welcoming international tourists in 2022.
With the goal of recovering the tourism industry in particular as well as the country’s economy in general in 2022, many parts of the planet have been planning to loosen up their entry requirements to welcome international tourists. In which, Condé Nast Traveller stated Vietnam is on its way to recover and reopen international tourism; Starting with the resumption of flights to the US at the end of 2021.
From November 2021, Vietnam has implemented the pilot plan to welcome international tourists with ‘vaccine passport’ under tour package programmes, along with the ‘Live Fully in Vietnam’ communication campaign in association with the national tourism brand identity: Vietnam Timeless Charm to attract international tourists to Vietnam, promote Vietnam tourism on website https://vietnam.travel/ and social networks of the VNAT with interesting and useful information along with lively pictures.
Besides restriction-free destinations, Condé Nast Traveller also recommended other trends defining travel in 2022, such as long-haul reboot, personal development retreats, extreme expeditions, all-inclusive luxury, hallucinogenic healing…
Condé Nast Traveller believes that with the gradually resuming international flights, the aviation industry is beaming an extremely positive signal for the recovery in the near future.
