The “Culinary Festival of 1,000 delicious dishes now and then”, organized by Ong De Eco-Tourism Village (My Khanh Commune, Phong Dien District, Can Tho City) will take place from October 22nd to October 27th.

The event will converge about 100 food stalls and more than 1,000 dishes and drinks from past to present across the country.
According to the Organizing Board, the festival aims to honor Vietnamese cuisine and culinary culture and demonstrates the quintessence of traditional and contemporary gastronomy of Vietnam. The event also educates people about Vietnamese cuisine, calls on everyone to join hands in preserving traditional dishes, and promotes creativity and novelty in cooking as well as the selection of ingredients for modern dishes. In addition, the festival contributes to developing tourism and promoting friendship, cooperation, and cultural exchange between units participating in the festival.
Within the framework of the event, there are also several contests, art performances, and entertainment activities to serve visitors during the event.
