(TITC) - Cao Bang Province plans to open the 4th experience route in Non Nuoc UNESCO Global Geopark in 2023
Thereby, the 4th experience route will connect tourist spots of Cao Bang City (including Geopark Information Centre, Comrade Hoang Dinh Giong memorial house, Song Hien ward fossil lake, Chu Trinh gabbro iron mine) with tourist spots of Thach An District (including Ancient Ocean Underwater Volcano - Basalt bridge over Khau Khoang Pass, Thai Cuong Commune; heritage-tree forest in Van Trinh Commune; traditional black jelly in Le Lai Commune; Relics of Dong Khe Fort, Bao Dong mountain peak, Ban Ne ancient ocean, Thuy Hung Commune; Cao Bang essential oil production facility, Le Loi Commune; location of raw materials for mountainous rural development with pear trees, medicinal plants and fruit trees in Thuy Hung Commune) and of Phuc Hoa District (including Bo To cane sugar production village, Hoa Thuan town, Truc Lam Ta Lung pagoda, Vietnam-China friendship point).

During his field survey on the 4th experiential route in the area of Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark, Dr Guy Martini, the General Secretary of the Global Geoparks Network and chairperson of the UNESCO Global Geoparks Council emphasised that, the 4th experiential route holds various international geological heritage value, which is associated with the historical and cultural heritage value, forming an attractive sightseeing route and tourist experience.

The 4th experience route has a rich geological heritage with beautiful natural landscapes, craft villages and villages of ethnic minorities living with many attractive products such as black jelly, chinese sausages, and passion fruits, pear garden, fragrant courgette... offering high humanity values and biodiversity.
It is hoped to bring a unique, peaceful feeling and an opportunity to discover many wonders about nature, people and products.
Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark stretches over an area of over 3,600km²; by far, three routes of experience have been operated, including the Eastern route to experience the indigenous culture of "Wonderland" (Quang Hoa District, Trung Khanh District); Northern route "Journey to the origin" (Hoa An District, Ha Quang District); Western route “Discovering Phja Oac - The Mountain of Changes” (Nguyen Binh District).
