The Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Department of Tourism has just launched a photo contest “Brilliant Ho Chi Minh City” 2023 for Vietnamese citizens and foreigners.

The photo entries introduce the natural beauty, landscape, lifestyle of the people in HCMC, and the image of a safe, dynamic, modern, friendly, future-oriented HCMC.
The contest aims to expand the scope of communication and promotion of HCMC's tourism to visitors, including in-depth investment in introducing historical, cultural values, cuisine, people, destinations, and tourism products and services of the city; thereby contributing to tourism, socio-economic development.
Entries must show the author's own perspective on HCMC, encouraging the expression of some content: the beauty of the natural landscape, architecture of the past and present or the rhythm of life of Saigon - HCMC with beautiful, impressive photos, creating a distinctive and different feature from other tourist destinations. It is the diversity of people's culture, cuisine and festivals only in Saigon - HCMC through the message: "Open - Youthful - Vivid - Excited - Looking to the future".
Photos submitted must never have joined any other contest, and have been taken between January 1, 2022 and September 30, 2023. Each contestant can enter up to 30 photos and two sets of photos (maximum 15 photos per set).
The organizing board will receive photos from October 1-15, 2023. The award ceremony is scheduled for the end of 2023./.
