Experiencing night tour at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam with the 3D Mapping technology

(TITC) - On 29th October 2023, at the Special National Relic Site of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam organised the Launching Ceremony of Night tour at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam (Ha Noi).

Speaking at the Launching Ceremony, Mr. Le Xuan Kieu, Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam said, after the upheaval of the Covid-19 pandemic, experiential activities at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam need to have innovation in awareness, action, and more flexible and effective approaches to heritage, especially in the period when Ha Noi is promoting cultural development, innovation, and digital transformation activities are taking place intensively. Besides, to implement the policy of developing the night economy, while creating new products to attract visitors to the  relic site, the team working at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam always tries to learn and research to perfecting multi-sensory experience products, meeting the increasing demands of the public and visitors. A completely new look of cultural heritage and traditional values will be shown, spectacularly is the spirit of studiousness, the tradition of respecting teachers and respecting talents through technological achievements, the intersection of traditional culture and technology promises to create a unique and attractive experience for residents and visitors.

Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Information and Communications, indicated that the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam night tour product is a special combination of technology at the relic site. Technology has opened up creative spaces at museums and relic sites. The Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam Night Experience Programme - a convergence of fascinating heritage stories and outstanding technological innovations is a typical example. The programme contributes to creating a unique product for the tourism industry associated with technology, implementing digital transformation, attracting visitors and bringing a new and exciting experience.

The Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam night tour is launched with the hope to offer visitors a completely new look at the relic site, creating new experiences and different emotions compared to the content of sightseeing and exploring during the day. Every architectural relic and heritage space becomes increasingly impressive and sparkling than usual, yet retains the profound and delicate features of a heritage area that is considered Vietnam's first national school under the monarchy. All items promise to open a space that is both familiar and strange at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam.

Thereby, the tour departs from the Great Portico (Khu Nhập Đạo), leading through the Accomplished Virtue Gate, the Doctors’ Stele Garden, the Dai Thanh area (Bai Duong area) and ends the journey at the Thai Hoc house area. The final emotional touchpoint of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam Night Experience Programme, which is also the content that brings the most sublime emotions, is the 3D Mapping presentation under the theme " Quintessences of education ". Every detail in the programme is meticulously cared for to give visitors an evening to fully discover the unique values not only of this special national monument, but also to feel the fundamental values of Vietnamese mysticism. The 3D Mapping performance is also a panorama linking all the experience items that visitors have enjoyed from the main gate to the end of Bai Duong yard. Each area brings together innovations from modern technology to create a party of light, sound and emotions.

The Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam Night Experience Programme will officially serve visitors from 1st November 2023, at 7p.m to 10.30p.m every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
