Song Da Sudico on May 22 held the ground breaking ceremony of Song Da - Ngoc Vung ecological tourist site. Located at island commune of Ngoc Vung (Van Don district), the tourist site occupies an area of 39 hectares and is planned to go into operation after 3 years with total investment capital of VND 250 billion.
According to its design, the tourist site consists of such items as multi-storey hotel, guesthouses on lake, green parks... Once completed, Song Da - Ngoc Vung ecological tourist site would be incorporated into the overall tourist complex of Ha Long Bay - Bai Tu Long and help develop ecological tourism in the area.
Ngoc Vung island, 40km from centre of Van Don district, is an island of great tourism potential with Truong Chinh beach, historical site of 12mm-canon battlefield, memorial site of President Ho Chi Minh... However, the island has not been received apporpriate investment to fulfill its tourism potential.
