Vietnam attends the 38th General Meeting of the EuroGeoSurveys

Vietnam’s delegation led by the General Director of General Department of Geology and Mineral Resources Nguyen Van Thuan recently attended the 38th General Meeting of the EuroGeoSurveys in Brussels, Belgium.

the conference, General Director of Vietnam’s Department of Geology and Mineral Resources Nguyen Van Thuan introduced Vietnam’s potential mineral reserves such as bauxite, titanium-zirconium, rare earth, coal, apatite, white sand, white marble and some new points in policies and laws on geology and mineral resources.

The Vietnam delegation’s participation in 38th General Meeting of the EuroGeoSurveys is to learn about the organizational chart, the operation mode of the European Geological Surveys and at the same time it is seeking cooperative opportunities and experience exchange in engineering technology to drill, skewer drill to serve the investigation, exploration, deep mining, and sea minerals geological surveys.

Besides the official conference, Vietnam delegation had bilateral meetings with a number of partners such as the US, Finland, Poland, South Africa Geological Surveys.
