During her visit to this venue, Ms Lynda Babao- O’Neill was introduced to the typical fine arts works of Da Nang, and those of Viet Nam as a whole, all of which are on display here featuring pieces of modern arts.
In addition, the VIP guest learned about the quintessence of ancient, folk and applied arts of Da Nang, and Central Viet Nam in general, through such exhibits as pottery items, charnel-houses of deceased relatives of Co Tu ethic minority people, Tuong masks and dress codes.
Ms Lynda Babao- O’Neill sincerely thanked the authorities and people of Da Nang for their warm welcome, saying that she was very impressed with fine arts works on display in the museum, especially those showcasing the distinctive Vietnamese cultural values, and the beauty of people in mountainous areas.
In particular, the visitor noted that she realises some cultural similarities between her country and Viet Nam by seeing the displayed fine arts works. She hoped that she would return to Da Nang in the near future to explore more about the beauty of the land and culture of this beautiful seaside city.
