Update: 21/02/2022
(TITC) - Recently, a leading digital travel platform Booking.com announced this year’s Most Welcoming Places on Earth in the framework of the Traveller Review Awards 2022 Recipients, voted by over 232 million travellers and Hoi An, Vietnam is listed as one of the “10 Most Welcoming Cities on Earth”.

Hoi An ancient town in the south-central coastal province of Quang Nam, is well-known for its musing and soothing scenery, possesses a chinese and french architecture throughout the city and all well blends with diverse local food. Hoi An has stolen many hearts of travellers worldwide with its well-preserved history recognised as the UNESCO World Heritage Site; coming to Hoi An, travellers are immersed in the vibrant daily life of locals, bustling and lively streets, with charming white sandy beaches nearby, according to Booking.com.

In order to enjoy this ancient town to the fullest, travellers can get a traditional Ao dai for their own, take a guided cycling or simply a walk along the ancient streets and learn about the crafts. For “free souls” travellers, a beautiful twilight walk under lanterns or travelling on wooden boats and ‘granting’ for a wish with shimmering and fantasy candle lanterns would become an unforgettable memory.

Others in the list are Matera (Italy), Bled (Slovenia), Taitung (Taiwan - China), Nafplio and Toledo (Spain), Monte Verde (Brazil), Bruges (Belgium), Nusa Lembongan (Indonesia), and Ponta Delgada (Portugal).
