Following the success of the Lotus Pink Marathon - Dong Thap in 2022 and 2023, the People's Committee of the province has just issued a plan to organize the Pink Lotus - Dong Thap Marathon in 2024, with the theme "Pioneering - Breakthrough".

Pink Lotus - Dong Thap Marathon 2024 is taking place from October 12 - 13, 2024; opening at 18:00 on October 12 at the Temple of Literature Square, Ward 1, Cao Lanh City.
This year's competition is expected to attract about 10,000 athletes. Participants are male and female, citizens of Vietnam and foreigners living in Vietnam who are in full health and not in legal issues.
The competition consists of 4 distances: 5 km, 10 km, 21 km and 42 km. There is also a distance for children (about 1.2 km) between the ages of 6 and 14 years old (calculated until 2024).
The Marathon is organized to propagate and raise people's awareness about physical training to improve their stature, health and quality of life; continue to respond to the campaign "The whole people train their bodies following the example of the great Uncle Ho" in the province in the period of 2021 - 2030.
At the same time, the Lotus Pink Marathon also propagates and promotes tourism, especially green tourism; create conditions for visitors to visit, experience and explore the landscape in Dong Thap, introducing local images to people across the country.
