The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has organised a ceremony in Hanoi in response to the World Oceans Day and World Environment Day.
The Provincial People's Committee (PPC) released a dispatch on May 29th regarding the organization of events in response to World Environment Day (June 5th) and World Oceans Day (June 8th) 2023.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment shared that all over the nation, the localities are organizing several meaningful activities and campaigns to respond the World Environment Day 2022, themed ‘Only One Earth’ and led by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). It is expected that through these events, the Vietnamese are highly aware about reasonable uses of the natural resources to live greener for a more sustainable development.

The theme of World Environment Day this year being “Ecosystem Restoration” expresses the importance of preserving and developing natural ecosystems in order to sustain a healthy environment for people’s survival.
In response to World Environment Day (June 5), the provincial committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front and Thuan Loc Ward (Hue City) held the launching ceremony "2018 Action Month for Environment and 2018 Environment Day" on June 3.
In the morning of May 24, Deputy Minister Vo Tuan Nhan chaired the meeting to review the report on preparation for World Environment Day on June 5, 2018 with the theme "Beat plastic pollution".
